We never speak on behalf of anyone but we’re pretty sure nursing staff, particularly the ladies and gents in the midwifery unit and maternity ward, don’t expect new parents to be looking at anything other than their new baby. This however, cannot be said for one Florida-based gentleman.

In the Jacksonville ‘missed connections’ segment, one man decided to look for the nurse that help deliver his baby. Yes, you read that correctly.
The advert reads: “This is probably a long shot but you were the nurse taking care of my wife while she was having our baby. I enjoyed our eye contact and would really like to talk to you more. Maybe tomorrow I will be there most of the day and I will bump in to you in the hall way or see you at the nurse station[sic]”.
