Within the next decade we could well be flying on a plane without any windows thanks to technological advances.

A UK technology innovator hopes to eradicate the small little windows that are currently used in planes and replace them with giant screens which will offer panoramic views of the area that you are flying over.

A video explaining the technology has been released by the Centre for Process Innovation (CPI) which explains to viewers all about the state-of-the-art technology that will be used.

The video from the research company also explains that the screens would reduce weight and costs as the plane would be lighter and it therefore would require less fuel. It also states that there will be wider seating for passengers and those on board would be treated to ‘seamless panoramic views’.

It has been reported that planes of this kind could be in the air in as little as ten years’ time.
