These are a few of our favourite things… for this week at least.

Cosy in Kenmare
Lucky Michelle spent last weekend enjoying some delightful R&R at the fabulous five-star Sheen Falls Lodge in Kenmare, County Kerry. You can read all about the service and amenities right here, but if you are paying a visit make sure to soak up the scenery on the way. The Kingdom is a truly beautiful place!
Pretty in PANDORA
Rebecca is loving the new Pandora Essence Autumn Winter 2014 Collection which consists of 12 brand new inner values including Creativity, Generosity and Belief. The new range, out on August 28th, includes a mixture of 14k gold, sterling silver and semi-precious stones which means there is plenty to choose from. In fact, Rebecca already has her eye on a couple in particular!
Sexy Specs
We had our judges hats on this week with our pals from WHPR, for the Specsavers Spectacle Wearer of the Year 2014 competition. After a night fun, our Cathy joined the judging panel to crown this year’s winner Jenny Keane.

Pick Up a Penguin
Last weekend, Sue went along to the zoo for the day and she literally spent the entire day out there. Out of all of the animals however, her favourite was no doubt the penguins and the seals, especially at feeding time. It took all of her control to not run off with a penguin…
Who you gonna call? GhostBusTours!
A GhostBus Tour is not just for Halloween, it’s for life. Or at least, Monday to Saturday each week. This week, Michelle and Marie headed out on the Dublin GhostBus Tour and billed it a spooky and spectacular night. The trip takes visitors around the capital city, pointing out some of the darker moments of Dublin’s history with a series of chilling stories at special stops. It’s just over two hours very well spent, whether you’re a tourist or a local. Highly recommended!
Kitchen Comforts
After a lovely day at Herbert Park’s Big Grill last weekend, Marie headed out to Ranelagh to check out a hidden gem that she was hearing a lot about. Upstairs @ Kinara Kitchen is a speakeasy-style cocktail bar run by renowned mixologist Paul Lambert and definitely lived up to its reputation. From amazing (and reasonably priced) cocktails to their fab patio area, this is one of her favourite new haunts!
Lovely Lashes
While fashion is Cathy‘s first love, she’s been known to obsess about beauty buys too. Her latest obsession is Santhilea Magnetic Lash (€29.99) available at Brazilia, Sandyford and South William Street. as it gives you long fluttery lashes without the effort and expense of eyelash extensions. Best of all, it conditions the lashes while thickening and lengthening them. What’s not to love about that?
Hazelnut Heaven
Liz got a nice little surprise in the post from her sister this week when she was surprised with a new cookbook. A NUTELLA cookbook. Yes, there is a God, and he created thirty recipes that gives Liz one more excuse (as if she needed one) to buy another tub.
What’s more, she decided to review it in her cookbook feature tomorrow… because sharing is caring. And it’s pretty much the best cookbook ever.
Between the Covers
Sue‘s favourite author has released another book and this time it’s about Henry VII. Her work mainly involves Medieval topics, the Tudors and the War of the Roses, and works facts into a fictional work. She is the author behind the brilliant White Queen
Cupcakes
It’s pretty much a rule at this stage that we have to mention food at least once on this page. So, here it is. This week, to mark Heritage Week, we received cupcakes that look like Newgrange. This… this is a skill. Sadly, there are none left.
