Our friends at West Coast Cooler sent us in a lovely delivery this week of their new product. Let’s just say we’re glad it’s Friday.

Dear Cardiff, Brace Yourself…

Thursday got off to a cracking start for Grace as she received tickets to the Heineken Cup Final into office. If anyone is looking for her this weekend she’ll be busy tackling the Welsh lifestyle and checking out what Cardiff has to offer… culturally obviously.

Sunny spells and scattered showers

This week Úna was loving… wait for it… the Irish weather! She headed out to bask in the sun with her friend from Austria, and had a great time eating ice cream while sitting in Trinity College. Murphy’s ice cream rocks on a sunny day.

Looks like we got our annual 12 hours of sunshine!

Ring The Alarm

Cathy had a look at PANDORA’s latest collection this week and it’s all about ring stacking this season. The more the better, we say! PANDORA have a special offer from May 22nd to May 26th where if you purchase two rings, they will treat you to a third free. Now just how is our resident style obsessive meant to resist that brilliant offer?! We LOVE the cherry blossom collection.

The Notebook

As a woman who has two planners, let’s just say Rebecca loves writing things down in books. So it’ll come as no surprise that she really likes the new Equinoxe Collection by Paperblanks. The intricate design is simply beautiful and there are so many colours to choose from, we wouldn’t be surprised if she adds two more notebooks to her desk!

Amen X-men

This week, Sue went along to check out the new X-Men film, Days of Future Past and since there are so many people she loved in the one film, she is still feeling slightly overwhelmed. Days of Future Past is in cinemas this Friday and is well worth checking out.

Carey on Mariah

Sue finally got to listen to an album which she was really excited about this week, mainly because of its brilliant title. Me. I Am Mariah… The Elusive Chanteuse. Surprsingly, she really liked it after she got over the fit of laughing about the title.

Singin’ and dancin’ in the rain…

Michelle was at the Bord Gais Energy Theatre this week for the opening night of Singin’ in the Rain. This joyous production is so visually impressive, and the cast were without exception wonderful – earning a well-deserved standing ovation. The classic songs from the beloved musical will be stuck in your head for days afterwards. It runs until May 31st and we heartily recommend it.

Dotty for Stella

This week, Her.ie attended the official launch of online jewellery collection Stella & Dot in Dublin’s beautiful Marker Hotel. With signature cocktails, tasty hors d’ oeuvres and a sneak peek at the latest offerings the beautiful jewellery line has to offer, we were in our element. Yes, we will have one of everything please!

Girl crush

Marie has been a big fan of Irish actress and singer Maria Doyle Kennedy for a while now and was delighted to get an opportunity to have a chat with her this week about her new album, desert island discs and the hypersexualisation of the music industry. She’s as interesting and fabulous as we expected so keep an eye out on the site for the full interview next week!
