In recent years mass numbers have dwindled and so the Vatican have called for an increase in “cool” in a bid to keep reengage with parishioners.
The above sentence is actually not exactly factual correct but it is the plot line behind this brand new sketch from our fresh-faced comedy brothers (they’re new, be nice) over at JOE.ie.
The clip opens with Father Tom O’Leary, a self-proclaimed ‘cool’ priest who upped his game by watching The Simpsons after realising that being a bad hand at his Crash Bandicoot game wasn’t exactly cutting it.
It isn’t long before Fr. ‘Mint’ O’ Malley joins in save the day by being simply ‘effing sound’.
Yoga is cool people…
And fist bumping is the new ‘peace be with you’.
