Forget flash mobs and online videos… there’s a new way of making wedding proposals unique.
A group of American students have invented Ring Cam, a ring box that contains a tiny camera which films the proposal.
Scott Brandonisio, Scott Bahash, Elliot Barney, Russell Fyfe and Nick Haugen, all 23, came up with the idea of Ring Cam when one of their friends was looking for a way to capture the moment he proposed to his girlfriend.
Is Ring Cam likely to catch on?!
“Customers love the product because they can keep the actual moment private, but they are able to share it with everybody afterwards,” said Ring Cam’s General Manager Sam Tzou.
“Ring Cam captures the moment that only the proposer gets to see – which from our perspective is the most important. As that is the moment that the “groom-to-be” will remember for years to come”, continued Sam.

So, if you’re intrigued in the Ring Cam… it’s £120 (€150) to buy or £60 (€75) to rent one…
