PICTURES: Would You Dare Try Crocodile Egg Ice Cream?

Mmmm tasty!

Summer is here and while we’re all for trying out new foods, we’re not quite too sure if we’d go as far as eating this delicacy.

Crocodile egg ice cream won’t bite back, but it’s still an incredibly unusual flavour that we’re guessing is only for the more adventurous of people.

While a lot of ice cream does feature eggs, you can find this bizarre mix in Davao City in the Philippines that chooses to use crocodile eggs instead of eggs from a chicken.

Made by the folks at the Sweet Spot Artisan Ice Cream shop, it’s conveniently located right next to Davao Crocodile Park – where it gets its eggs directly.

According to Sweet Spot, the crocodile eggs are actually more nutritious than chicken eggs and are 80 per cent yolk.

Each batch is made by hand and they also serve regular ice cream for those you’d just like a scoop or two.
