The days of painfully scrolling to see if your crush has followed you back are over.
While we sort of enjoyed the blissful ignorance of not really being able to tell who was following us on Instagram, it was time to stop messing around in fairness.
Followers lists are long, and trying to find out if someone followed you can be arduous and downright stressful.
Not that we would spend time doing that. Ahem.
Well, now in Instagram’s brand new search features, to be rolled out later this year, the social media savants have rectified this problem.
According to Mashable, with the new update, searching for someone in the “people” tab will immediately show you whether or not they are following you.

You can also see which of your friends are following the person you have searched, AND users who have recently posted a photo will be highlighted.
Instagram is currently testing the features out on a few lucky iOS users, and the update can be expected to land later this year.
