Dining

One of the beauties of going to a holiday island like Majorca is being able to dine out every night for next to nothing. You can get yourself a kebab, pizza or burger for under €5, but if you want a sit-down meal you’re still looking at a steal, with a three-course meal available in many restaurants from only €12.

Drinking

The reps for the bars and clubs of Majorca will be falling over themselves to get you in, so there’ll be no end to the offers you’ll see on alcoholic beverages. It should go without saying that this should be enjoyed in moderation, but if you want to take advantage of the offers you’ll find local beers priced at about €1.50, Guinness and Bulmers at about €4, wine at about €2.50 a glass and a cocktail will set you back about €5. Make sure to keep yourself hydrated throughout your holiday too, with 5 litres of water only costing €1/€2 there’s really no excuse not to…

Dancing

Again, the world is your oyster!  You can head for the island’s main clubs like BCM in Magaluf or Barracuda in Port Andratx for a serious night on the tiles, but whatever town your in there’s sure to be a multitude of options for would-be clubbers. Expect a fee for the bigger clubs, particularly if there’s a big-name dance act playing, but lots of the smaller clubs will let you in free if you sign up to the aforementioned drink offers on the way in.
