Book Club: Our February Pick Is… Landline by Rainbow Rowell

The Her.ie book club is back for the New Year and we have what we think is a cracker of a novel for our February pick. Landline is from the best-selling novelist of Eleanor & Park, Rainbow Rowell, and has been described as “captivating, quirky and heartwarming.” Georgie McCool knows that her marriage is in trouble but the thing is she still loves her husband Neal and he still loves her. Two days before they’re supposed to visit Neal’s family in Omaha for Christmas, Georgie tells him that she can’t go because of a job opportunity. When her husband takes the kids and leaves for the airport, Georgie wonders if she’s finally ruined their marriage.
