Countdown To The 10K – Week 4 Of The Her.ie Running Challenge With Life Style Sports

As part of the Life Style Sports #GirlsRunTheWorld campaign, Michelle McMahon, Editor of Her.ie and Sue Murphy, TV&Film Editor, were challenged to run a 10k race after 12 weeks of training.

For Week 4 of the campaign, Michelle and Sue went along to the Iveagh Gardens with their trainer Peter Kern from PB3 Coaching.

Everything is pretty positive this week again, Michelle is now running an entire 5k without stopping and is also running it in excellent time at just 29 minutes and 30 seconds for the last run she did on Sunday. Her first full 5k run will be in New York in the 1st March.

Sue on the other hand is still not running but is building her strength up week by week. She is still going to a physio but also keeping up her bike and swimming sessions but is hoping to be back running again in two weeks.

The girls will both be keep you updated on their individual weeks through their blog.
