This sure is a memento we hadn’t heard of before. Some mothers may have no interest at all in remembering breast-feeding their child, but others would like to reminisce about that early point in their child’s life.
Well, a 34-year-old mother of three has come up with a solution for this. Allicia Mogavero from Rhode Island designs and makes jewellery out of breast-milk which she sells on her online store, Mommy Milk Creations, through Etsy.com.
For a small amount of money, she will plasticize a sample of your milk and mould it into a miniature shape, according to Time. The beads are then fashioned into a pendent.
The Daily Mail has claimed that Allicia has been inundated with orders for her product and her waiting list is quite lengthy.
Apparently, Allicia is not the only company making keepsakes of breast-milk. Other companies on Etsy.com include Hollyday Designs and milkmombaby.
We’ve heard of teeth and hair… But breast-milk?
