You would pass her on the street.
One contestant in this year’s X Factor, Honey G, is really dividing opinions. There was huge controversy after Sharon Osbourne decided to bring her through to judge’s houses and even further outrage when she was picked over some more deserving contestants, like our very own Janet Grogan.
The live shows kicked off last night and Honey G’s performance didn’t seem to change people’s opinion of her. They are still as confused as ever about her, not knowing for sure if she is a ‘fake’ contestant.
Watching #XFactor @The_Honey_G I can’t work out if she’s exploited or maybe incredibly savvy? #fake? #tupac would be spinning in his grave

#HoneyG makes me not want to rap anymore! #XFactor has managed to disrespect every rapper tonight.

I’m still waiting to hear that this #HoneyG is an elaborate spoof by an unknown comedian, cause this CANT be real, right?!? #Xfactor pic.twitter.com/rGW0E9ZGr5

When is HoneyG gonna just admit she’s made it all up and it’s a joke with mates that’s gone too far?

But now someone has rooted out her LinkedIn profile and she is unrecognisable. Before appearing on the show she worked as a Managing Director in the recruiting sector.

Does this prove she’s just doing it for a laugh or is she seriously trying to break into the music industry? Let us know what you think on Twitter, @Herdotie.
