Everyone is saying the same thing about the new Big Brother

Big Brother has returned after five years.

Big Brother returned last night and viewers were pretty underwhelmed by the revival.

Everyone seemed to have the same criticism of the show, but are hoping it will improve with time.

Viewers agreed that the show should be live and said it didn’t have the same feeling as before. Last night’s episode was pre-recorded and many viewers felt it fell flat because of this.

One wrote on Twitter, “Why isn’t Big Brother UK live? There is a lack of energy so far.”

“The show isn’t live and already put me off that it isn’t. I dunno why but just isn’t the same,” another said.

“Not feeling Big Brother, doesn’t have the same excitement as launch night used to have especially not being live! It’s missing something,” another pointed out.

Despite the backlash, many viewers praised the show for having such an inclusive and normal cast for the relaunch.

Contestants include a butcher, a youth worker, a lawyer, and a doctor.

Big Brother returned for the first time in five years last night and viewers are hoping it improves as the series goes on. Former host Davina McCall joked during the show and said she was missing out.

“How’s it going? I’ve got horific fomo,” she admitted.

The brand-new series will be hosted by AJ Odudu and Will Best, who were praised by viewers following Sunday’s show. Many said both presenters had great energy, but said the show wasn’t the same without Davina McCall.

One fan said: “There will only ever be one queen of #BBUK (and that is you, Davina) Although this is feeling fresh and light-hearted. I feel Ch4 and Ch5 went for intensity. ITV BB feels like a different show. I don’t know if that’s a good or bad thing yet!”

What did you think of the new Big Brother? Did you enjoy the show?
