Upcoming episodes of Virgin River will be set at Christmas time

We cannot wait for Virgin River to return

Virgin River has become one of the most popular shows on Netflix in recent years. The wholesome, small-town drama released the first episodes of season five this month. However, fans will have to wait until November to tune into the remaining episodes. But they'll certainly be worth the wait with the remaining episodes being set at Christmas time. The cozy show, that gives Gilmore Girls a run for its money, has been streaming since 2019, but the series has never had an episode set at Christmas time. However, that will change in November, much to fans' delight. The second part of series five follows the nurse as she comes to terms with news about her biological dad. Mels's sister Joey reveals to her that their mother had an affair with a man from Virgin River, who may be Mel's real dad. Gail Harvey told Entertainment Weekly, "We know that there are the postcards, and then it goes from there. It's definitely part of the two episodes, and it's actually quite amazing. I'm very proud of the way that it all worked out." Viewers were delighted following Virgin River's return, but the team teased that it will only get more emotional as the season continues. They warned viewers that the upcoming episodes will be super heartbreaking so brace yourselves. The next set of episodes will be released on Netflix on November 30th.
