'Fess Up' hopes to shine a light on the unseen aspects of aesthetics and takes a transparent approach when it comes to demystifying and debunking celebrity fads, of which, as we know there are many.
Future Beauty & Health founders, Liz and Nikki Dwyer, will be at the helm of this new weekly podcast and we're in for a treat when it comes to their guests.
Season one will see Sophie Anderton, Marian Keyes, Michelle Regazolli Stone, and Rob Kenny sit-down with Liz and Nikki.
Prompted by the saturation of quick fixes and a desire to bring more honesty and ownership to the world of aesthetic and wellness treatments, the sister duo plan to call out dishonesty in the beauty and health field and demand 100% full disclosure from the industry, as well as their guests.
We can expect to have everything from colonics to cosmetic procedures, biohacking to botox, discussed and detailed in these weekly episodes, as well as their asking guests what their biggest beauty regrets are and diving into their diet decisions.
Liz and Nikki, now in their 40s, also will open up and share their own unique, entertaining, and even extreme efforts they have gone to in this regard.
Speaking on the launch of the new podcast and her role as co-host, Liz says:
"We are all for people having safe, ethical tucks, tweaks, and treatments, or embarking on health and beauty Odysseys. But people should own it.
"We are especially over celebrity deniers who claim they look hashtag amazing because they drink water from Uranus, sleep in oxygen tanks or credit whatever beauty or health product they are aligned with on a given month. It is basic false advertising."
If you aren't familiar with this sister act, Liz, a journalist, and Nikki, a corporate lawyer, switched up their professions in 2019 and embarked on a mission to disrupt the aesthetics industry, with their vision: Future Beauty Show.
Their events, which attracts over 6,000 visitors every year, have been curated to educate the public when it comes to clinical treatments, cosmetic dentistry, plastic surgery, and the aesthetic ‘tweakments’ that have fast become part and parcel of every day life for many here in Ireland.
In 2024, they are rebranding as Future Beauty & Health, an event that aims to put biohacking and healthoptimisation at the centre of the the smart ageing agenda, with leading global experts on the bill.
New episodes for 'Fess Up' will be released every Tuesday and can be found on theGoLoud app and all major podcast platforms.
Welcome to the audio world, girls. We cannot wait.
