Coronation Street’s Todd Grimshaw Has A Cunning Scheme In Mind

Coronation Street's Todd Grimshaw has a dark side and it comes to the fore as he plots to ruin his mother Eileen's new relationship. She is besotted with love interest Adrian but in a bid to sabotage things, Todd sets up a fake online dating profile, feigning interest in Eileen. Bruno Langley, who plays Todd, spoke about the upcoming plot: "He has managed to destroy Jason's relationship and now he sees a way that he can get revenge on his mum. Until now he hasn't been sure what he could do, but this plays right into his hands. "Todd tells Eileen that she has more than one man interested in her, so she should see them all and make her own decision, not just go for the first man who takes her out. She does listen to him and has no reason to believe he is being anything other than truthful. "He sets up a profile of a rich man who has a lifestyle which is a world away from Eileen's and a world away from Adrian too. She can't believe that someone like that would be interested in her." Todd blames his family after he was mugged last year, he is bitter and enraged about as the violent incident occurred after Eileen and Jason stood him up at a local restaurant. "Todd is a very unhappy man. He doesn't like seeing other people happy as it makes him even more aware of how unhappy he is. He also blames them for what happened when he was attacked". These scenes will air in the coming weeks.
