Artist shares photos of ‘real life’ Homer… and we’re going to have nightmares tonight

Olivia Hayes

Nope. No, thank you.

We’ll stick to the yellow version.

If you’re like us then you probably grew up with The Simpsons on TV. It was constantly on Sky One and was basically the background to our childhood.

It was extremely funny, (somehow) relatable, always kept up with pop culture references, and more often than not, predicted the future.

We’ve always been fond of it up until now, however an artist has reimagined Homer Simpson in ‘real life’ and we don’t think we’ll ever be able to look at him the same again.

Artist Miguel Vasquez created a sculpture of Homer in human form… and well, we’ll just let the pics do the talking:

Terrifying, right?

Miguel also created one of Spongebob Squarepants back in May, and it’s equally as scary:

We think those two cartoons have now been ruined for us…

Obviously people have not been too fond of them, to which Miguel has to say: “When people say my 3D artwork is ugly, creepy, and disgusting, but that was the plan along.”
