She shared a very personal message on her YouTube channel last night.
Nikkie de Jager, or as she’s more widely known, NikkieTutorials, uploaded a video onto her YouTube channel last night to tell the world that she is transgender.
The makeup artist said that she was being blackmailed by someone who wanted to sell her story to the press, so she decided to take back her “own power.”
In the 17-minute long video, she explains that she was born into the wrong body and was 19-years-old when she decided to really become herself.
The 25-year-old said: “Today I am here to share something with you that I’ve always wanted to share with you one day, but under my own circumstances, and it looks like that chance has been taken away from me. So today, I am taking back my own power and I have to tell you something.

“When I was younger I was born in the wrong body, which means that I am transgender.”
Nikkie went on to talk about her childhood, saying that she was always quite girly.
“Ever since I was born I always thought I was a girl and I just couldn’t understand why I had short hair, why I had to wear trousers… I played with dolls. All of me was girly. My mom knew immediately,” she explains in the video.
“By the age of seven or eight I fully wore girl’s clothes only and it felt amazing.”
Nikkie goes on to explain that by 14-years-old she was taking growth stoppers and hormones, and by 19 she fully transitioned.
