Taylor Swift shared a heartbreaking tribute following the harrowing loss
Taylor Swift has issued a heartbreaking statement after a fan died before her concert in Brazil.
According to reports, a fan collapsed ahead of the show and was later rushed to hospital.
Unfortunately, the girl was pronounced dead an hour after arriving at the hospital in Brazil.
Swift said she is beyond heartbroken following the fan’s untimely death.
“I can’t believe I’m writing these words, but it’s with a shattered heart that I say we lost a fan earlier tonight before my show.
“I can’t even tell you how devastated I am by this. There’s very little information I have other than the fact she was so incredibly beautiful and far too young.

“I’m not going to be able to speak about this from the stage because I feel overwhelmed by grief when I even try to talk about it,” she said.
“I want to say now I feel this loss deeply and my heart goes out to her family and friends.”
The ‘All Too Well’ singer added, “This is the last thing I ever thought would happen when we decided to bring this tour to Brazil.”
The fan has been named as 23-year-old Ana Benevides. She reportedly collapsed due to the sweltering heat and intense crowds at the stadium in Rio de Janeiro.
Temperatures have reportedly reached highs of 37 degrees on November 17th.
Reports claimed there was no water for fans after the stadium allegedly banned them from bringing in bottled water.
Swift is set to perform at the stadium again tonight, but fans are calling for her to cancel the show due to the extreme weather.
