Gilmore Girls star Lauren Graham has paid tribute to Matthew Perry
Actress, Lauren Graham has paid tribute to her late friend, Matthew Perry.
The actress, best known for playing Lorelai Gilmore, was dear friends with the late ‘Friends’ actor.
Appearing on ‘CBS Mornings’, the actress said Perry was happy in the weeks before his death.
“This last year, he was so proud of the book he wrote, and of how many people it touched,” she said.
“It was a success that gave him a level of happiness that I hadn’t seen in him for a really long time, so that’s a nice memory.”
Lauren Graham said she is still in shock following the actor’s untimely death.

She revealed that she is still trying to wrap her head around the sudden loss.
“I mean, it’s a really tragic loss, and he leaves his beautiful work behind. That’s something to be thankful for, and again, the book really meant something to him, so it was a really happy year for him.”
“No one made me laugh as hard. Just tears, streaming. There was just such joy in being around him and being his friend.”
Lauren Graham’s tribute comes after the cast of ‘Friends’ all paid tribute to their late friend.
Matthew Perry sadly died at the age of 54 in an apparent drowning at his LA home.
He was laid to rest in a private ceremony this month.
