Sabrina Carpenter has announced a new project with Netflix
She’s become one of the biggest pop stars of the moment so it’ll come as no surprise to see Sabrina Carpenter team up with Netflix.
The Espresso singer has revealed she’s hosting a Christmas special on the streaming service this December.
Sabrina Carpenter released her Christmas EP Fruitcake in 2023 and is set to perform hits from the project on her Netflix show.
She will also cover classic Christmas hits, as well as songs from her number one album Short n’ Sweet.
Netflix confirmed the project will air on the streaming service on December 6th.
It will also feature special guests as well as unexpected duets, but they have not been announced yet.
“A Nonsense Christmas with Sabrina Carpenter — her first-ever holiday special — features unexpected duets and comedic guests you will not want to miss!”
Speaking about the project, the Good Graces singer said Christmas has always been incredibly special to her.
In a statement, the singer said she can’t wait for her fans to see what she’s been working on.
“The holidays have always been so special to me. I am excited to bring my take to a classic holiday variety show.”
The former Disney actress said the project infuses “my love of music and comedy to make something that is uniquely me.”
News of her Christmas special comes after the singer’s album Short n’ Sweet reached number one in the charts.
Before her album’s release, Carpenter confirmed she would be going on tour in 2025.
Both of her Dublin dates sold out within minutes.
