Sabrina Carpenter’s new album is here and it’s perfect

Sabrina Carpenter’s new album Short n’ Sweet landed this morning and it’s one of the best pop albums we’ve been graced with for some time.

The pop princess has created an addictive album full of ready-made pop hits that you’ll be listening to on repeat.

Fans were eager to see if Carpenter would refer to her relationship with Barry Keoghan on the album.

The pair, who reportedly split earlier this month, got together at the beginning of the year after meeting briefly at the Givenchy show during Paris Fashion Week.

In her song Bed Chem, Carpenter touches on the first time she met the Irish actor.

“I was in a sheer dress the day that we met. We were both in a rush, we talked for a sec. Your friend hit me up so we could connect. And what are the odds? You send me a text.”

“Who’s the cute boy with the white jacket and the thick accent?”

The singer didn’t respond to claims it was about Keoghan but did open up about writing the song.

She told Paper, “There was a lot of steam in the studio. It was real hot and heavy. No, I’m kidding.

“My friend Paloma and I coined the term [‘bed chem’]. I went to the studio that day and was like, ‘I have this title and idea, and we have to make it sexy and a little bit unserious at the same time because it is such a ridiculous concept,” she added.

The release of her album Short n’ Sweet comes after the singer allegedly broke up with Barry Keoghan after just a few months together.

The Espresso singer reportedly grew tired of the actor’s partying and drinking habits.

However, neither of them has addressed the break-up rumours yet.
