Rosanna Davison is heartbroken following the death of her dog Pom
Rosanna Davison has shared a sweet tribute to her dog after he passed away this week.
She confirmed her dog Pom lost his battle with cancer in an emotional Instagram post.
“Our beautiful little Pom lost his battle with bladder cancer today. He was in quite a lot of distress last night so Wes brought him to the emergency vet where he was given pain meds and we were told it was a matter of days.”
Rosanna said he passed away peacefully in one of his favourite spots at home.
“He passed peacefully this afternoon in his fave spot in the sunshine,” she wrote.
Rosanna adopted Ted when he was just a puppy in 2011.
“He came to us as a tiny furball in 2011 and he gave us so much fun, love, and cuddles. He was our baby during our years of trying to have a family, we’re going to miss him so much. Rest in peace little Ted.”
Her followers quickly showered her with loving messages following the announcement.
One wrote: “So sorry to hear. I lost my little guy a few weeks ago and it’s absolutely heartbreaking.”
“Aw Ted, he knows how much he was loved Rosie,” another said.
One added: “Your furry babies had the best life, remember that.”
“Our fur babies are our family and to own a dog is to know unconditional love,” another said.
