‘One in a million’ – Pamela Joyce is leaving Today FM

Pamela Joyce has reportedly finished up with Today FM

The surprising announcement was made this afternoon on the radio station's social channels.

Alongside a beautiful photo of Pamela, the station confirmed she presented her final show today.

"We want to wish the one and only Pamela Joyce the very best of luck as she finishes up her lunchtime show on Today FM."

They added: "We’ve loved every minute of the last few years Pam, you are one in a million."

Confirming the news, Pamela revealed she is returning home to Galway.

It was an emotional goodbye for the host after she bid farewell to the station.

The radio host said: "Currently bawling my eyes out."

"End of an era but it's time to get home to Galway," she confirmed.

Pamela previously opened up about her afternoon show and said being part of the station's weekday schedule was a real dream come true for her.

She told Evoke: "I am terribly excited about the new show. I have only recently discovered the difference between nervousness and excitement so I'm just going to roll with it and say I'm excited instead of I'm nervous because it's more positive."

Pamela has not yet revealed what her next move is but there's no doubt it will be incredible. We already can't wait to see what she does next!
