Singer Rita Ora is said to be “devastated” after being forced to pull out of a planned performance at tonight’s Teen Choice awards.
The star had intended to perform hit single I Will Never Let You Down at the event but pulled out two days ago, telling fans “Guys I am so sorry. I will make it up too you. I promise. I’m devastated. I love my fans.”.
It is now being reported that the cancellation occurred after ex-boyfriend Calvin Harris, who wrote and produced the track, refused to let her perform the song at the event and it was too late for her to prepare another number.
The cruel move seems at odds with comments made by Ora during a recent interview, where she suggested that all was well between the pair.
“We both work really hard, we’re both all over the place. I’m not doing too great but I’m doing better than I thought. I adore him and he’s an amazing human being.”
