Rebecca Loos has finally broken her silence after the release of David Beckham’s documentary.

Nearly 20 years after rumours of an affair between the two started making headlines, the former glamour model has slammed the footballer for playing the “victim” in his Netflix show.

In an interview with the Mail on Sunday, Rebecca didn’t hold back and said: “He can say whatever he likes, of course, and I understand he has an image to preserve, but he is portraying himself as the victim and he’s making me look like a liar – like I’ve made up these stories.

“He is indirectly suggesting that I’m the one who has made Victoria suffer.” She also accused David of putting her back in the spotlight when she had no wish to be.

“So many people had forgotten about all of this. He’s dragged it back up again in a way that is affecting my reputation,” she said.

Though Rebecca didn’t hold back when it came to speaking about David, she had nothing but praise for Victoria Beckham saying she, “came across well… very natural, very honest, very open.”

In 2004, the football legend was hit with claims he had an affair with Rebecca who alleged she had a relationship with him while he was playing for Real Madrid.

The former Manchester United ace, who was hit with allegations of affairs with other women, described the claims as “ludicrous” at the time.

Now in his documentary ‘Beckham,’ David addressed the rumours head-on for the first time though never confirming if the affair actually happened.

“I don’t know how we got through it, in all honesty. Victoria is everything to me, to see her hurt was incredibly difficult, but we’re fighters and at that time we needed to fight for each other, we needed to fight for our family,” he said.

“And what we had was worth fighting for. There were some days that I would wake up and think, ‘How am I going to go to work? How am I going to walk onto that training pitch?

“How am I going to look as if nothing’s wrong?’ I felt physically sick every day when I opened my eyes, ‘How am I going to do this?’”
