Producers at this year’s MTV Video Music Awards planned with “military precision” to keep Beyoncé and Kim Kardashian away from each other, due to an ongoing feud between the pair.
The row is believed to have arisen when Beyoncé and Jay-Z snubbed Kim’s Italian wedding to Kanye West and sat on opposite sides of the auditorium at the event, while aides ensured their paths didn’t cross.
According to The Mirror, producers even went so far as to warn cameramen not to capture Kim’s reaction to Beyoncé’s showstealing performance.
“It was the first event that Kim and Beyonce have both attended since Beyonce didn’t show up for Kim’s wedding, so it was planned with military precision,” a source told the Mirror.
“It would’ve been a PR disaster for them to bump into each other unawares and for the incident to be caught on camera, so their people made sure that their arrival times on the red carpet were ages apart, and their seats were on opposite sides of the auditorium.”
