Yesterday Jessica Simpson was celebrating Memorial Day, and she did it by posting a series of snaps to her Instagram account.
The mum of two flaunted her flawless figure after dropping an estimated 60-70 pounds as an ambassador for Weight Watchers, following the birth of her son last year.
The singer wears a cut-out swimsuit in the snaps, where she’s happy to pose ‘proudly’, posting the following pics:
Speaking to E! News, the star said women shouldn’t be ashamed of gaining weight while pregnant, saying:
“You are creating a life, and honestly, it’s not easy. It is a really hard thing to go through. And you deserve to eat your ice cream. You deserve to have your pancakes. Do whatever you want to do and then afterwards just know that you have to work really hard.
“I had to learn that with my first and second pregnancy. My first pregnancy I ate a lot more, but my second pregnancy…I ate what I wanted to eat but I stayed active, and I think because I had gained so much weight with my first that I had to stay active throughout my second because I didn’t know what to do with myself if I didn’t.”
Back in February, Jessica told Good Morning America that stepping on the scales following her second pregnancy had been shocking.
Well it seems all the hard work’s been paying off.
