Rita Ora graces the cover of the May issue of Elle UK magazine, posing topless.
The Radioactive singer’s cover pose reveals a huge tattoo on her ribcage, an Alberto Vargas image of a pin-up girl.
The 23-year-old said [about the tattoo]: ‘It’s based on an original piece by Alberto Vargas, who was an incredible illustrator in the 1930s.
‘He was one of the creators of the pin-up image. That’s our build, our power.’
This particular tattoo took five hours to complete and Rita chose to visit celebrity tattoo artist Bang Bang McCurdy for her inking, accompanied by bestie Cara Delevigne, who chose to get her mother’s name Pandora tattooed on her arm.
