Peaky Blinders’ Star Annabella Wallis Set To Join Cast Of Mummy Remake Alongside Tom Cruise

Peaky Blinders’ star Annabella Wallis is said to be in talks to join the Mummy remake.

Tom Cruise and Sofia Boutella are already set to star in the remake of the movie with Annabella now coming on board to play an archeologist.

According to Variety, Annabella is in talks to be the female lead in the movie which is due for release in June 2017.

Annabelle, who is from Oxford in England, is best known for playing the role of Grace Burgess in the Peaky Blinders series.

The plot of the Mummy remake is unknown but there’s speculation that it will be set in the present day with Cruise taking the lead role similar to Brendan Fraser’s character archaeologist Rick O’Connell.
