Matthew Settle is expecting a child with his girlfriend Maria Alfonsin.
The actor, who played Rufus Humphrey in Gossip Girl, had kept schtum on his happy news but co-star Kelly Rutherford accidentally made the announcement while speaking about an upcoming charity event.
“Marcia Cross, Ed Westwick, Vivica Fox, Selma Blair, and Lisa Rinna are all hosting. And Marianne Williamson and Lisa Bloom are speaking. I’m hoping Matthew can make it. He’s getting ready to have a baby, so I don’t know.”
This will be the couple’s first child, with Settle also having a six-year-old daughter with his ex-wife.
