Forget murder on the dance floor, it sounds like love might be blossoming on the set of Strictly Come Dancing this year.
Iveta Lukosiute and Thom Evans are at the centre of romance rumours and the new series hasn’t even started yet.
The professional dance champion told the Daily Mail that she shares a “connection” with the former rugby star (and ex-boyfriend of Kelly Brook).
“He is a genuine person. To be honest I did find him attractive to start with and when I got to know him, I liked his personality more than his looks.
“He is a great guy. I have only trained with him for four days so far so our focus at the moment is to get the dancing right, but do we have a good connection? Yes we do. Do we get along? Yes we do.”
She added: “Thom and I have laughed like crazy since day one. We have talked a lot about our families and he knows a lot about mine already. We have a lot of things in common already. We are very open to each other.
“Thom has a great body. He has the looks, he has the body. He has the potential but he has a beautiful personality. And what impresses me is that he is not vain at all. He never looks in the mirror.”
It’s not the first time Iveta has spoken out about Thom who also admitted to having a crush on his dance partner and while it’s still early days, it certainly sounds like we could have a hot new couple on the scene.
Iveta and Thom sound like they might end up mixing work and pleasure.
