Lisa Kudrow thanked Matthew Perry for his friendship and trust
The cast of ‘Friends’ has been honouring Matthew Perry with a string of emotional and heartbreaking tributes. This week, the five remaining cast members honoured their late friend with the most heartfelt tributes.
Lisa Kudrow posted a rare photo of her and Matthew Perry along with a tribute that summed the actor up perfectly.
She remembered the late actor as someone who always had time for her, and who always showed up, no matter what he was going through.
She praised Perry for being so kind to her when they were shooting the pilot for ‘Friends’.
Kudrow remembered Perry as someone who was full of love, grace, and great humour.
“Shot the pilot, Friends Like Us, got picked up then immediately, we were at the NBC Upfronts. Then…You suggested we play poker AND made it so much fun while we initially bonded. Thank you for that.”
“Thank you for making me laugh so hard at something you said, that my muscles ached, and tears poured down my face EVERY DAY.”
Kudrow thanked the actor for “your open heart in a six-way relationship that required compromise.
“Thank you for showing up at work when you weren’t well and then, being completely brilliant. Thank you for the best 10 years a person gets to have,” she continued.
She also thanked Perry for trusting her and for teaching her how to have grace and love.
“Thank you for the time I got to have with you, Matthew,” the actress concluded.
