YAAAS girl.
With the referendum on the eighth amendment just mere days away, it only makes sense that a considerable number of celebrities and figures-of-note are taking to social media to encourage people to vote.
Katherine Ryan is one of those people.
The Canadian born comedian is best known for appearing on Channel 4’s 8 Out Of 10 Cats, BBC’s Mock The Week, and a Netflix special or two.
Recently, however, she’s taken it upon herself to go on Twitter and announce her support for the repeal of the eighth amendment.
Glorious.

However, some people didn’t like that Katherine, a Canadian comedian, was commenting on Ireland’s upcoming abortion referendum.
And they, like most very smart and not at all bitter people on the internet, decided to tell her so.
“Stick to your own country and keep your nose out of Ireland’s politics,” wrote Steve, who goes by the username ‘Max_Power750.’
What Max Power (Steve) didn’t realise though was that Ireland is actually Katherine’s country.
Well, one of them anyway.
Because her father and grandparents are Irish, Katherine has an Irish passport, making her just as qualified as anyone really to keep her nose very in Irish politics, if she so pleases.
And she does.
She definitely does.
Katherine responded:
Keep your nose out of my dick. #TogetherForYes pic.twitter.com/QDPQuG8hlc

Incredible. Just incredible.
The vote takes place this Friday.
