Congratulations are in order for Sam Thompson!

The Made in Chelsea star beat out boxer Tony Bellows and former Brexit Party leader Nigel Farage to take home the I’m A Celebrity crown.

Sam has been a fan favourite since early on in the competition with the bookies naming him as the one to win.

As soon as he found out that he would be this year’s champion the reality star jumped into Tony’s arms as soon as Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly said the words.

Admitting he was feeling “overwhelmed” by the whole situation Sam became visibly emotional.

“I’m really overwhelmed, I didn’t think I’d even be invited on the show. I don’t know what to say,” he said.

When asked what he wanted to say to those who voted for him, the 31-year-old said, “I’m so grateful, thank you so much. I’ve dreamed of doing this show for years and years and you’ve made a boy’s dream come true.”

Though he didn’t take home the crown, there were clearly no hard feelings between Tony and Sam as the boxer admitted he had a feeling his campmate would win.

“10 days ago, I knew. I knew when I first met him, I’ve never met a person like him… He deserves it more than anything and I couldn’t be happier” he said.

During their joint interview, Sam confessed that he had always been a fan of the show and the experience was way better than he could have ever imagined.

“It did so much more, I’ve never been so shocked in my life, times 100 everything, the little moments are the best moments as well,” he said.

“My favourite time in the entire jungle was when Snake Rock came back and we had the entire family back together… The vibe was so amazing and I thought, ‘I don’t think I’ve ever been as happy as I am now.'”
