It was hard work being attractive in the 80s.
Between the dodgy hair cuts, abundance of baby oil and untamed facial hair, it’s fair to say that looking back at almost every pin-up of the decade will induce a serious cringefest.
However, we’ve collected some of our favourites so you can take a trip down memory lane (and question your sanity when you realise that you still secretly fancy one or two!).
1) Tom Selleck
From his days in Magnum PI to playing the sophisticated and suave Richard in Friends, Tom Selleck is top of our list when it comes to 80s crushes. While one or two members of the team still have an enduring love for the man with the epic moustache, the general consensus is that he makes the cut for this list… and this picture sealed the deal.
2) Eric Estrada
Deny it all you want but you know you wanted a piece of Eric Estrada when he was starring in CHiPs. He may not have us weak at the knees anymore but you can’t argue with the fact that he’s got some serious arms… and we LOVE a man in uniform.
3) David Hasselhoff
Yes, there was a time when David Hasselhoff was considered a fine thing. He rocked a leather jacket while hanging out with the coolest car in the world and women everywhere swooned. Thankfully, we’ve all gotten over it now… right?
4) Bret ‘The Hitman’ Hart
There is one member of the Her team who had an all-consuming crush on Bret. So much so, she collected stickers, had his posters on her wall and wrote a song about her love for The Hitman… which included a rap. We won’t name her, as her credibility would never recover, but we’ll leave you with this rather impressive taste of his talents.
5) Ted Danson
He was Sam Malone in Cheers and melted our hearts with his turn in Three Men And A Baby. He’s now a silver fox and we probably still would…just sayin’.
6) Tommy Lee
Every decade has a rockstar crush and Tommy Lee was up there with the best of them. Thirty years and a few marriages later, he’s still going but we’ve moved on to Dave Grohl.
7) Charlie Sheen
After his very public meltdown and porn star engagements, Charlie isn’t top of the hot list anymore but there was a time when those broody eyes made him the subject of millions of teen crushes.
