Favoured Actress Set For Screen Return With I’m A Celebrity Stint

Former Men Behaving Badly actress Leslie Ash is in talks to enter the I’m A Celebrity jungle, which could mark the star’s return to TV. Ash, who has publicly battled with her health since being diagnosed with MRSA in 2004, is now tipped to be joining the reality TV show. The actress has struggled with walking since she was first struck with a strain of the superbug 11 years ago, and has publicly called on the TV industry to provide equal representation of those who are mobility challenged in the media. Speaking to The Sun, a show insider said: "While Leslie can walk again, she still sometimes uses a stick because of some balance issues which might rule her out of some challenges. “Bosses are currently seeing people about this year’s series and Leslie would be a great contestant if it could be made to work.” Other contestants rumoured for the next series of the hit show include Eastenders’ Jake Wood and MIC love-rat Spencer Matthews.
