Dolce and Gabbana have been criticised today for an ad which has been accused of glamourising gang rape.
The 2007 image sees a female model being restrained by a man as three other semi-clothed men look on and is part of a campaign which also includes a group sex scene.
The offending photo has been cast into the spotlight after publicist Kelly Cutrone, known for her role on The City, posted it to Twitter in the wake of Dolce and Gabbana’s row with Elton John.
I GUESS SIMULATING GANG BANGS ARE FINE – BUT IVF AND SAME SEX MARRIAGE ARE NOT – LIFE ACCORDING TO @dolcegabbana pic.twitter.com/JUaDYVXxpC

The singer vowed to boycott the duo after they took part in an interview in which they called babies conceived through IVF “synthetic”.
