Dáithí Ó’Sé is not concerned about finding work after The Rose of Tralee despite the cancellation of RTÉ’s The Daily Show earlier this year.

The TV presenter said there is no need to worry because something always turns up.

According to The Irish Sun, Dáithí said: “I’m not worried, something will come up. There’s a gig or two next year with the Irish community in New York which I might look at.

“Otherwise I don’t know but I was never the kind of guy who planned ahead. It will all happen,” he said.

Photographs of Dáithí’s wedding appeared in VIP magazine last month

Ó’Sé will spend next Monday and Tuesday night chatting with Irish beauties when he hosts the annual Rose of Tralee competition.

The Kerry native recently married a former Rose, Rita Talty and said his wedding day was perfect.

“Ten minutes into the Mass, I realised this was going to be great fun. You could see some people in the congregation looking about them thinking, ‘There are some wild b*****ds here today.’”

Dáithí said he is looking forward to the next step and hopes to have children with his new wife, Rita.

“It’s definitely on the cards. We’re not sure when but it’s something we both want to do.

“That will be another chapter – Dáithí as Daddy. I can see the reality show now,” he said.
