Courteney Cox and Snow Patrol’s Johnny McDaid spotted out in Derry

Courteney Cox spent some time up North with her other half

The couple paid a visit to Silver Street in the Snow Patrol star's home county.

Of course, staff recognised the famous pair and managed to snap a pic with them which they started on their Instagram account.

They captioned the picture: "Special Visitors today in Silver Street, the staff had a lovely time meeting Courtney Cox and Johnny McDaid."

Courteney and Johnny are believed to have celebrated the New Year up North close to where Derry man grew up.

The actress posted a photo of her and Johnny sharing a New Year’s kiss at midnight alongside the caption: "Happy GMT New Year!"

In recent months, the band member has been supporting his other half after the death of her close friend and costar Matthew Perry.

The two had been close for over 30 years when they shot to fame on the hit sitcom, 'Friends'.

Courteney and Matthew's characters Monica Geller and Chandler Bing even ended up getting married on the show, making their real-life bond even closer.

In December, the Los Angeles coroner’s office announced that the actor had died from "acute effects" of ketamine after he was found unresponsive in the hot tub in his home in Los Angeles in October 2023.
