The actress, who has had starring roles in Emmerdale, Bad Girls and now as Erica Holroyd on Coronation Street says she decided to opt for the suspension facelift after appearing on Sky Living’s Stitch Me, Lift Me, Tuck Me in 2013.
Speaking to Hello! Magazine, Claire said the chance to audition for Corrie was her life-changing moment:
“When I was invited to audition for Coronation Street, my heart leapt. But there were some big names up for the part and although I desperately wanted it, I promised myself there and then that if I didn’t get it, I would give up the job I loved – I would quit acting.”
Claire has since confirmed that her Corrie contract has been renewed, and she will appear on the soap until at least early next year.Celebrity
