Chris Pratt shared touching message about his son on World Prematurity Day

His little boy weighed just three pounds when he was born.

This is very sweet.

Fans of Chris Pratt will know that he and his wife Anna Faris are an adorable couple and amazing parents.

The couple have one child, Jack, who is now four. But Jack was born prematurely at just three pounds with health risks.

The little boy is now happy and healthy but Chris wanted to acknowledge the fact that his little boy is a fighter on World Prematurity Day which is November 17th.

He posted an adorable video of his son playing with a Praying Mantis with a heartfelt message thanking science that his little boy was okay.

”As many of you may know, our son Jack was just over 3 pounds when he was born. Thanks to scientific advances made possible by #marchofdimesfunding, today he’s a perfectly healthy, curious 4 year old. Today is #worldprematurityday.”

The Guardians of the Galaxy actor also pleaded with his fans to support other parents in his situation.

”15 million babies are born prematurely each year around the world. And 1 million of them won’t live to celebrate their 1st #birthday. The @marchofdimes strives for a world where every #baby has a fair chance, yet this is not the reality for many mothers and babies. Join me in supporting their efforts to give every baby a fighting chance by clicking the link in my bio. Thank you! God Bless!!!”

In an interview with People in 2014, Chris said that the birth of his little boy restored his faith.

“It restored my faith in God, not that it needed to be restored, but it really redefined it,”

“The baby was so beautiful to us, and I look back at the photos of him and it must have been jarring for other people to come in and see him, but to us he was so beautiful and perfect.” The actor said.
