It sounds like Cheryl Fernandez-Versini (we think that’s what we’re supposed to call her now) is no longer everyone’s favourite X Factor judge.
According to reports this morning, the newly-married singer got booed during the last day of auditions in London.
It seems the audience didn’t take too kindly to Chezza stepping into Simon Cowell’s shoes when he pulled out of the afternoon session due to illness.
A source told The Sun newspaper: “She did her best to fill in for Simon, sitting in his seat and cutting songs short with hand gestures.
“However, she gave one contestant such tough love that they burst into tears. The audience then booed her and she was really shocked”.
While the booing may well have been justified, it sounds like a case of a joke going wrong. Even still, scarleh for her!
