There’s been more speculation than ever over the shape of the X Factor panel this year but it seems that it won’t be too long before we find out who will be sitting behind the famous desk.
A number of bookmakers certainly seem to have heard a rumour or two as they’ve slashed the odds on Spice Girl Mel B from 6/1 to 4/6 in the last few days, leaving her as the second favourite to join Cheryl Cole and Simon Cowell on the reality show. Despite rumours that he looked set for the chopping block, stalwart Louis Walsh remains the favourite to return to the panel, with singer Paloma Faith, Black Eyed Peas star Fergie and former contestant Olly Murs also believed to be in contention.
Mel B would certainly have the experience for the job, currently holding a judging role on America’s Got Talent.
