Barry Keoghan had a very special accessory with him last night

The Irish actor was at the Masters Of The Air premiere and eagled-eyed fans spotted an important bracelet on his wrist.

The silver accessory had Barry’s beloved late mother’s name, Debbie, engraved into it.

Debbie passed away when Barry was just 12 years old after struggling with drug addiction.

Barry could be seen proudly wearing the piece of jewellery as he posed for pictures alongside his co-stars Austin Butler and Callum Turner.

The Dublin star has been candid about his loss speaking openly about his fond memories and his daily habit of praying to her.

Speaking to the Sunday Times, the 31-year-old said that losing Debbie “wasn’t a shock” while adding that she was “so beautiful”.

He added that he and his younger brother Eric spent much of their childhood visiting her in hospital when she suffered from drug-related illnesses and recalled: “I’d do this Elvis dance for her.

“They’d just rereleased A Little Less Conversation – she loved it.”

After losing their mother, Barry and his brother Eric went into foster care, living in 13 different homes before they moved into his aunt and grandmother’s two-bedroom flat.

“My cousin, who I call my sister, was 15 and she gave up her bedroom for us – until five years ago she was sleeping in a room with my auntie. I owe them all so much,” the Dubliner explained.

He added that nowadays, “My family’s most concerned about my wellbeing, all the [stardom] stuff is secondary to them… But they have a good chat about it in the pub! They get their pints in.”
