Adam Sandler reveals stellar career advice he gave his two daughters

"Don't let too many people try to get in your head"

The 57-year-old actor has had a lot of success in the industry and has some stellar advice for his girls.

Speaking to People, Sandler said: “I tell them to make sure you feel good about what you do and how hard you worked, and you judge yourself.

“Don't let too many people try to get in your head. If you feel like you gave it your all, that's all you can ask.”

The actor’s daughters; Sadie, 17, and Sunny, 15, voice characters in his new animated movie called ‘Leo’. 

He went on to say that he loves collaborating with his family and said: “[It’s] always fun to be with my family,” he continues of collaborating on the project, which also stars his wife of 20 years, Jackie Sandler. 

“It's kind of what they are thinking about getting into and their passion, and so it's good to learn with them.”

According to Netflix, the musical comedy, which will be released tomorrow (November 21st), tells the story of the last year of elementary school through the eyes of the school’s class lizard, called Leo. 

Adam plays Leo, while Sunny and Sadie voice characters called Summer and Jayda, while his wife, Jackie, lends her voice to Jayda’s mom.
