Adam Collard’s ex sends a friendly warning to Laura Woods

Rosie Williams, 32, has issued a warning to Adam Collard’s new girlfriend, Laura Woods, about his ‘toxic behaviour’.

The pair met and dated briefly on season four of Love Island back in 2018.

The former Love Island contestant has now made it known that she doesn’t believe that Adam, 27, has matured, following his appearance on Celebs Go Dating and his bombshell return to the villa in 2022.

The ex-solicitor expressed her ‘shock’ that her former flame was in a romantic relationship with Laura Woods, 36, a notable and respected figure within the TV industry.

During their villa romance in 2018, Charity Women’s Aid accused Adam of ’emotional abuse’ when he appeared to ‘smirk’ after dumping Rosie for Strictly star Zara McDermott.

Speaking to the MailOnline, Rosie shared her admiration for the sports presenter.

“I know Laura Woods from watching sports and I always say how well she has done for herself… her career has excelled… it is incredible to see a woman in the sporting world doing so well.

‘I was just as shocked as everyone else when I was told she was dating Adam. I was told, I don’t actually have Adam on social media,” she revealed.

While Rosie acknowledged that she and Adam were ‘short lived’ and their fling was over five years ago, she worries that his recent TV appearances indicate he hasn’t learned from his past mistakes.

“When he went back on Love Island the second time, I hoped that he didn’t treat the girls the same way that he did with me and Zara McDermott… I hoped that he went on the show to find love as he said.

“Unfortunately, the same toxic pattern in his behaviour emerged… People like to tell me things and again in Celebs Go Dating, the exact same routine carried through, so he really hasn’t changed. His TV appearances speak for themselves!”

Adam has had public relationships with a number of industry names, such as Lottie Moss, Paige Throne, and Zara McDermott, as well as women he has met outside of the entertainment world, such as Josie Baxter and Claudia Proctor.

To answer the question of all questions, the social media influencer revealed why women fall for Adam and what they see in him.

“When people question, ‘Why are people falling for him all the time?’ I say, ‘He is charming and seems really sincere at first.’ But I just wonder if he means it this time with Laura because I would hate for somebody else to get hurt by him.'”

After Laura accidentally revealed her relationship to her followers instead of her close friend’s story, many fans felt disappointed in her choice of partner, given Adam’s dating history.

Rosie, too, hopes, at the very least, that the TNT presenter will have a positive effect on her reality star boyfriend and hopes that he has met his match.

“Laura is a beautiful woman, she is ambitious and seems independent, so I hope she has a positive impact on him if not, more fool him. It will definitely be attractive to Adam that she is doing so well in her career and has a lot of male attention.

“Being as knowledgeable as she is about sport, she ticks all the boxes. She has a lot of attractive qualities. Maybe he feels he has finally met his match. Everyone knows her name and her career is going from strength to strength.

“I know a lot of girls have been in awe of Adam in the past so maybe he’s finally met someone that he feels the same way about,” Rosie added.

Adam recently opened up for the first time this week about the beginning of his romance with Laura and the future he hopes it will have.

He revealed that when he messaged the sports presenter, he failed to respond to her after she replied, something Laura called him out on.

Following this, the pair eventually met in person, and it wasn’t long before they were exclusively in a relationship, with the Geordie now believing she may be ‘The One’.

“He said: ‘”I would never get in a relationship with someone at least at one point unless I thought they were The One.

“Some of the ‘girlfriends’ I’ve had , and I’m saying ‘girlfriends’ because they’re not really girlfriends, they’re just girls I’ve been on one date with, and then suddenly they’re my girlfriend which puts a lot of pressure and stuff, because I would only say I’ve had three or four serious ones,” he admitted.
