ITV responds to claims Stacey Solomon has quit Loose Women

ITV has responded to claims that presenter Stacey Solomon has quit ‘Loose Women’.

The mum stepped away from the show during her last pregnancy with daughter, Belle, but is reportedly hoping to return.

A source claimed that she had quit the show, but ITV said the claims were not true.

They told Women’s Own magazine: “She’s outgrown the show. It’s no longer right for Stacey.

“Loose Women takes up a lot of her time. If she were to leave, it would free up her time a little, especially if she has to be away for longer periods of time with her own shows.”

The presenter has been focusing on her own projects, but ITV stressed that the door is always open for her to return.

An insider told OK: “These claims are not true. We are looking forward to welcoming Stacey back onto the show soon.”

Solomon has been busy filming BBC’s ‘Sort Your Life Out’ and has been working on multiple collaborations with brands including Asda and In The Style.

She also recently invested in a hair care company called Rehab.

Speaking about her major career milestone, Solomon said she knew it was time to invest her money in something that mattered to her.

The mum-of-five said it was a “huge moment in her life”

“I have decided for the first time in my entire career to invest my own money into a small business and become a third of Rehab.

“Growing up investing in a small business was never something in my life I thought I’d have the chance to be able to do! I feel like I’m writing this about someone else.”

She added: “I can’t put into words how incredible it feels to say that I am going to start a whole new chapter in my life championing incredible women in business.

“I see so many talented people day in and day out working so hard to achieve their dreams and it’s not easy out there,” she added.
