Trains to and from Dublin Heuston are currently suspended due to a “tragic accident” on the line.
Iarnród Éireann confirmed the news on Twitter saying that ongoing delays will be in place as they try and deal with the incident.
It is unknown what has actually occurred but it has been confirmed that the accident happened at Sallins on the line to the north of the station.
Update: Ongoing disruption to services through Sallins as all services suspended due to a tragic incident on the line, emergency services attending, significant delays are expected, updates to follow.
